HOYFC have an ever widening range of products and we love working with other companies to help us make our technicolour ideas into reality; especially when those businesses are local and run by some awesome women. When we decided we wanted to make some silk scarves, we were delighted to find BeFab Be Creative who were an indispensable source of knowledge and support throughout the whole printing process.
BeFab Be Creative is two sisters based in Edinburgh, Scotland who digitally print fabric. They specialise in high end, short run, bespoke fabric prints and print on a range of materials including silk, cotton, linen & bamboo. You can order samples to make sure your fabric and colour choices are perfect! They sent us this cool video of our scarves being printed.
Through BeFab Be Creative, we discovered Kalopsia Collective who are also based in Edinburgh (hurrah for local manufacturers!). Their business emphasises ethical and sustainable manufacturing processes and they produce everything in house in their Leith factory.
Kalopsia Collective use the most efficient and eco-friendly techniques and practices within their production to make products which are long lasting and durable whilst reducing waste. We are excited to work with companies which uphold these values!
